SMS Opt-In Consent Policy

Transparent Communication & User Privacy

Our Commitment to Consent

We take your privacy and communication preferences seriously. Our SMS messaging program is built on a foundation of explicit, informed, and voluntary consent. We only send text messages to users who have actively and independently agreed to receive them through our verification consent process.

Important: SMS messaging is completely optional and is NOT required to use our services. All users have full access to our services regardless of whether they opt in to SMS notifications. All communications can be received via email or in-app notifications as alternatives.

How Opt-In Consent is Achieved

We employ a comprehensive verification process that ensures all SMS recipients have provided clear, voluntary, and affirmative consent to receive text messages from our platform. SMS consent is always separate from and independent of account creation or service usage.

Alternative Communication Methods

All users have access to complete communication through non-SMS channels:

  • Email Notifications: All SMS content is also available via email
  • In-App Notifications: Real-time updates within the application
  • Account Dashboard: All messages and alerts viewable when logged in
  • Push Notifications: Mobile app notifications (if applicable)

Users who do not opt in to SMS receive the same level of service and communication through these alternative channels. There is no service degradation for users who choose not to receive SMS messages.

User Rights & Opt-Out

Users maintain complete control over their SMS preferences and can opt out at any time through multiple channels:

  • Text “STOP”: Reply with STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message
  • Account Settings: Update SMS preferences through the application settings
  • Customer Support: Contact support to request removal from SMS messaging

Upon opt-out, users receive immediate confirmation and are removed from the SMS program within minutes. No further messages will be sent except for a final opt-out confirmation. Opting out of SMS does not affect service access or account functionality.

Message Types & Frequency

Users who voluntarily opt in to SMS messaging may receive:

  • Appointment reminders and confirmations
  • Account notifications (non-security related)
  • Service updates and changes
  • Important announcements
Note on Security Messages: Two-factor authentication (2FA) and security verification codes are transactional messages separate from our SMS notification program. These security messages are only sent when explicitly triggered by user actions (like login attempts) and do not require marketing opt-in consent.

Message frequency varies based on user activity and preferences. Typically 2-5 messages per month. Marketing messages are only sent to users who separately and explicitly opt in to promotional communications.
